Domestic Services
SDX - Same Day Express
Major Centres:
A dedicated vehicle is dispatched to collect your shipment and to then place same on the next available flight. The shipment will be delivered within two hours after arrival at its destination. This service is dependent upon availability of flights and is only available between major centres. Should a same day service be required to an Outlying Delivery Area or a major area where there are limited or no flights available, a drive-away can be arranged at an additional cost. A quotation must be requested in such cases. Kindly contact your nearest Fedex Express office for further details.
Intra City:
This service is only available within the metropolitan limits of a major centre. A dedicated vehicle is dispatched to uplift and deliver your shipment within two hours after collection. Should a same day service be required within the metropolitan area of an Outlying Delivery Area, this can be arranged at an additional cost. A quotation must be requested in such cases. Kindly contact your nearest Fedex Express office for further details.

This early delivery service is available to major centres within South Africa and delivery will be effected between 08h00 - 09h00 the following business day after the day of collection.

FDX 2 - 24 - 48 hour delivery
This service is available throughout South Africa and delivery will generally be effected between 24 - 48 hours after the day of collection, depending on origin and/or destination. A further delay of up to 24 hours may be experienced on shipments to or from an Outlying Delivery Area.
FDX 3 - 24 - 72 hour delivery
This service is available throughout South Africa and delivery will be effected between 24 - 72 hours after the day of collection, depending on origin and/or destination. A further delay of up to 24 hours may be experienced on shipments to or from an Outlying Delivery Area.

An After Hours Surcharge will be levied for deliveries and/or collections effected after business hours as defined hereunder:

Chain Store Deliveries
Chain Store deliveries/collections will attract a surcharge over and above the applicable service tariff. Due to the complex nature of these deliveries, a delay in service delivery may be experienced.

Embassy and Consulate collections or deliveries will attract a surcharge over and above the applicable service tariff.
Game Reserves / Parks, Mines, Power Stations, Farms
Deliveries / Collections from Game Reserves and/or Parks, Mines, Power Stations and Farms will attract a surcharge over and above the applicable service tariff.
Saturdays
Saturday collections and/or deliveries will attract a surcharge per AWB over and above the applicable service tariff. Collections and Deliveries are only available between major centres.

Any Saturday collections and/or deliveries to or from Outlying Delivery Areas will be done on a drive-away basis. A quotation must be provided prior to any shipment being dispatched to an Outlying Delivery Area. In the event that we receive a shipment from our customers with the instruction to deliver domestically on the Saturday, either on the AWB or verbally when the collection request is placed, the drive away service will be provided and charged for in order to fulfill our service obligation.
Global Product Offering
IP - International Priority
A time definite, express door-to-door delivery service to over 220 countries worldwide.
IE - International Economy
Consignments are delivered between 2 to 5 days after the day of collection, depending on the origin and/or destination. This service is offered to the following destinations only: Botswana, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia and Swaziland. Please be advised that this service is subject to customs clearance. A delay of 24 to 48 hours may be experienced for shipments that do not originate from Johannesburg and/or are destined to an outlying area at destination.
IRM - Remail
This bulk mailing service allows for documents, financial reports and a variety of printed matter to be collected, sorted and flown internationally for interjection into the local postal system. Proof of postage is available on request.
IBC - Imports
This is an express door-to-door, customs cleared service from over 220 countries worldwide to South Africa. Price is available on application. Kindly contact your local FedEx Express office or Account Executive for assistance.
